I met Judy at the library. Later we became neighbors and friends. I invited her to attend church with me but she wouldn't. Two years ago at Easter, she surprised me by driving in behind me at the parking lot. I asked her why she decided to come and she told me that "God told her to come." She has been a blessing and will be missed. I thank God for bringing us together.

Judy was kind, gentle, smart loving friend. While working at the library the title, "Mama J" was given to her by a co-worker because of her nurturing and caring personality. Judy was a great listener, and always
knew what to say to bring comfort to my heart. Always, always asked about my sons and kept us in prayer. She was so very proud of her daughter Danica, and when her daughter and Keith finished building their home Judy was over the moon with joy for them. Judy was also witty at times. One humorous memory happened at work. We girls were talking, laughing; being silly when all of the sudden Judy starts sucking her thumb and twirling her hair while making a funny face. She sure made us laugh; it was a great day.

Mama J , Thank you for your beautiful gift of friendship. I am going to miss you bunches, but with love I will remember you.

Having known Judy for almost 44 years, I have so many memories of our friendship and shared lives. I remember the first day we met - I was working in a dental office and Judy was about to graduate high school. She came in to interview for an opening, got the job, we became fast friends and she became the sister I never had. I'll never forget when she told me she was joining the Air Force, and then what her job was going to be! The first time I visited her in England, she appeared dressed in uniform with a pistol strapped to her waist and my Judy looked like she meant serious business. She was proud of being one of the first women involved in munitions maintenance even though she told me how dangerous it was. I was also proud of her but apprehensive...she took it in stride. Judy was indeed a kind soul, a woman of faith who cared about others before herself. I will miss her dearly and my sincere condolences go to Danica and the rest of the family. The good news is that Judy will live in our hearts forever. RIP dear friend.

Judy and I bonded over our mutual "Jersey Girl" connection. I was in bible study with her for awhile, and we sat right near each other every Sunday in church , so we always had a chance to give and get a hug. Such a kind soul. I will miss her. Gone way too soon. Heartfelt sympathy to all her friends and family. We know she is truly in God's hands now.

Judy was a special person. Always putting others before herself. Always kind and thoughtful. She was a proud mother and great friend. I never had a talk with Judy that she didn't ask about my family and always kept us in prayer. I will miss her weekly visits and she will always hold a special place in my heart.
Miss you Mama J.
