Kathleen Kay (Parker) Weaver

She was born on June 6, 1952, to the late Levi T. Parker and Coleen Holland Parker in Catawba County. Kathleen retired after 32 years of service at the Hickory Police Department as Supervisor of the Communications Department.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Terry Weaver of the home, daughter, Kana Elizabeth Fleming (Judith Dooley) of Hildebran, sons, Jason Paul Fleming (Karen) of Longview, Christopher Lee Weaver (Jessica) of Hickory, Wesley Allen Weaver (Kendra)of Hickory, nine grandchildren, and a number of cousins.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Hickory Funeral Home. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:45 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. at the funeral home. Rev. Dr. Corey Smith will officiate the service. Entombment will follow at Catawba Memorial Park.
