Kathy Singleton Gibson

Kathy “Kat” Gail Singleton Gibson, 68 of Hickory, NC went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, September 23rd, 2026, at Frye Regional Medical Center surrounded by her loved ones.

Born on February 13th, 1958, Kat was the daughter of the late Charles Elmer Singleton and Mary Ruth Allison Singleton.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Charles “Chuck” Singleton and her sister, Bonnie Ellenburg.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Alvin Carson Gibson; her daughter, Jessica Gibson; her granddaughter, MaryGrace Gibson; her granddaughters by heart, Tylisha Denman, and Olivia Hall and her brother, Brian Singleton and wife, Laura, as well as numerous other loved ones.

A Celebration of Life service will be scheduled at a later date.
