Kenneth Lee Icard

Kenneth Lee Icard, 78, loving husband, father and papaw, passed away October 22, 2013 at Catawba Regional Hospice after a short period of declining health.Kenneth was born on August 19, 1935 in Catawba Co. to the late Arthur David Icard and Fannie Deal Icard.He was a member of St. Stephens Lutheran Church, ELCA of Hickory and retired from Carving Craft. Surviving are his wife of 57 years, Edith Barger Icard of the home; daughters, Donna Church and Cathy Baker and husband, Steve; sister, Frances Duncan and a brother, George Icard; grandsons, Mark and Mason Baker and Ethan Church all of Hickory.Funeral services will be Saturday, October 26, 2013 at 11:00 A. M. at St. Stephens Lutheran Church, ELCA with Pastor Richard Hites officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.The family will receive friends Saturday from 10:00 -10:45 A.
