Kerry Richard “Rick” Allen, 53, passed away Friday, May 16, 2014. Rick was born November 22, 1960 in Broward County to the late Henry Carroll and Vivian Lorene Allen Shook. He was preceded in death by his father Henry Carroll and a step-father Bobby Shook. Rick is survived by his mother Vivian Shook of Conover, a maternal grandmother Edna Ellison of Granite Falls, his aunts Rebecca Harris of Lenoir and Sharon Wilson of Granite Falls and numerous cousins. A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, June 5, 2014 at 6pm at Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church.
