I also worked with Kim @ Lowe's. She always had a smile on her face and could always find the good in everything. When I would have a stressful day, she would always say something that would make me laugh and tell me to have a Fan - tabulous day or a Marvelous day in her one of a kind, animated voice. Our store will never be the same without her, she will be missed. Rest in Peace Kim.

I also worked with Kim at Lowes. She was one of kind. I work in lumber and she would sneak down hiding her coffee cup and ask in a very quiet voice, Renee is there coffee and is it fresh. If it wasn't fresh she would make it and come back when it was ready. We are not allowed to have coffee on the floor but she hid it from management but I'm sure they knew. If you didn't know her then you missed out. She definitely left a footprint on everyone who knew her. I well miss her so much. RIP Kim. Love you to the moon and beyond.

I did not know Kim persoanally, was drawn to the name Ard. My mother was an Ard, as was my grandfather and great grandfather, etc. I remember a Mary Ard in our family tree.

My family of Ard were from South Carolina and before that am sure came form Europe. Although the name Ard is in the Bible, it is not that common of a name to me.

My sincere condolences to the family and friends of Kim Ard and you are in my prayers tonight. Greg Edwards, Hickory, NC

Wendy,
Your sister made me laugh out loud at every gymnastics meet! She was so funny as she would watch Sierra and make noises in the back at every bobble or pass. I especially loved how she loved on my Zoë whenever she saw her.
Truly, Earth has no sorrow that heaven can’t heal yet this one is going to take a lot of heaven and time. Your kids made your sister light up and that was clear. My prayer is that you all know that she is STILL cheering your family onward as a part of the great cloud of witnesses.

Kim- she had a beautiful smile and contagious laughter. Without any doubt, I know she is even more gorgeous with her halo and wings. ❤️

I was a co worker of Kims at Lowes in Denver. She really helped me enjoy coming into work since at the start the last place I wanted to work was Lowes. I evenutally moved to her department where she helped me understand what to do and in training me. I never forget the talks we had and jokes we shared. She was one of those people that made you enjoy your life and the moment. Heaven got an amazing person.

I worked with Kim for over two years, serving as her department manager at Lowe's of Denver. When I was new to the position and department, she assisted me by getting me up to speed with product knowledge and procedures in the paint department. I appreciated her support and helping ease the adjustment period. She was quite a conversationalist with a positive outlook on life which came with a winning attitude. She had a willingness to grow and develop in learning about specialty sales at Lowe's. I enjoyed assisting her in the learning process there. I was saddened when I heard the news of her passing. I give my condolences to all of her friends and family. Rest in peace Kim. Thank you for all that you did in my time working with you, it was a pleasure getting to know you.

I'm Kim's boss at Lowes. We worked closely together. She was the most upbeat person I have ever met. She was loud and excited about her new home. We would talk and laugh while working together in our department. She brightened everyones day that she came in contact with and to say that she will be missed just doesn't seem to cover it. My heart breaks for her family and close friends. May the Lord bring you comfort and strength during this terrible time .
