Koua Vue, 77 of Hickory, NC went home to be with the Lord on Friday, April 24th, 2026, at Catawba Valley Medical Center surrounded by his loved ones.
Born on July 12th, 1948, in Laos, Koua was the son of the late Fai Chia Vue and Nao Vang.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 29 years, My Song Vue; his 3 sons, Paul Vue and wife, Maisee, Sacksith Vue and Soulivong Vue and wife, Khaisy; 2 daughters, Palaly Christiansen and husband, Loyal and Pakou Robinson and husband, Drew.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, May 22nd, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm
and 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm with Pastor Cher Houa Yang officiating. Saturday, May 23rd, 2026, 9:00 am to 12:00 pm with Dr. Sing Ger Soung officiating.
Koua will be laid to rest at Catawba Memorial Park on Saturday, May 23rd, 2026, following the service.
