HICKORY – Krista Diane Johnson Bradshaw, 50 of Hickory passed away on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at Frye Regional Medical Center.
Krista was born on January 10, 1971 in Iredell County to the late Judy and Robert Rivera. She was a member of 316 Christian Community Church in Hickory and loved Jesus. Krista’s greatest joys in life were her daughters, but her grandson was her world! She enjoyed cooking, playing Pacman, and spending time with family and friends. Krista was always there for you and a giving person to those in need. She taught her daughters what is really important in life – to love, support and care for those around us. We are all better off for having known her. She will be greatly missed.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Amber Bradshaw, nephew, Travis Lester, grandparents, Clarence and Ethel Isenhour.
Survivors include her daughters, Amy and Steven Long , Felicia Bradshaw; grandson, Jayden Long; sister, Patricia Rivera; brothers, Rex Johnson, Kevin Johnson; nieces and nephews, Daniel Rivera, Mary Rivera, Alicia Rivera, Tracy Miller, Elizabeth Johnson, Beverly Rogers and many more.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, October 1, 2021 at 2 PM at Catawba Funeral Home with Vernon Moyer officiating.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1 PM -2 PM at the funeral home.
