Laura Louise White

Laura loved to do all types of crafts especially crochet, knitting and cross stitching. She was devoted to her Lord and spent many hours studying her bible. She was a dedicated wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother and friend.

Laura is survived by her beloved husband of 58 years, Bobby White Sr. of Hudson; children, Deborah Curtis and husband Jeff of Granite Falls, Bobby White, Jr. and wife Christina of Hickory and Patricia Bottenfield and husband David of Hickory; siblings, Lattie Freeman and wife Ann of Hickory and Beatrice Guthrie of Asheville; 15 grandchildren and many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Laura was preceded in death by her parents Theodore and Belva; daughter Vickie Diane White; siblings, Ted Freeman, Robert Freeman and Wanda Fisher.

Graveside services will be held at 3 pm, Saturday October 22, 2016 at Catawba Memorial Park in Hickory with Pastor Christopher Messer officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 2pm to 3pm at Catawba Funeral Home.
