Mr Lewis Carlton Mosteller

Lewis was born March 17, 1929 in Burke Co. to the late Carlton M. and Katherine Elizabeth Taylor Mosteller.

He was a member of Millers Lutheran Church, retired from Clayton-Marcus Furniture and was in the army during the Korean War.

Surviving are his wife of 57 years, Doris Herman Mosteller of the home; daughter, Karen Mosteller Sigmon and husband, David; sons, Kelly LaVern Mosteller and wife, Jane of Bethlehem and Kevin Lee Mosteller of Bethlehem; sister, Jean MaDaris Robinson of Hickory; brother, Carroll Mosteller of High Point; eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and his pet, Lilly.

Services will be Sunday, April 29, 2012, at 2:00 PM at Millers Lutheran Church with the Reverend C. Jason Sigmon officiating. Burial will follow in Catawba Memorial Park with military honors conducted by American Legion Post #48.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 6:00 until 7:30 PM at Hickory Funeral Home.
