Lia Lee

Lia Lee, age 55 of Morganton went home to be with the Lord on Monday, February 19th, 2024 at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center surrounded by her family.

Born on June 15th, 1968 in Laos, Lia was the daughter of Chue Lee Lee and Kia Vang. She was a very giving person and loved to help all her relatives and friends. She was loved by her family and will be dearly missed.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Vue Xiong and her mother, Kia Vang.

Those left to cherish her memory include, 6 sons, Theng and wife, Mai, Sor, Kong, Leky, George, Ethan; 3 daughters, Chou and husband, Chi, Mailia and husband Billy, Panou and husband, Danny and 16 grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Catawba Funeral Home on Saturday, March 9th, 2024 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm and Sunday, March 10th, 2024 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm with Pastor Cherteng G. Lee officiating. Lia will be laid to rest at Burke Memorial Park in Morganton after the service on Sunday.
