Lily Kim Lail, 82 of Vale went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 3rd, 2024 at Catawba Valley Medical Center surrounded by her family.
Born on December 5th, 1941 in Japan, Lily was the daughter of the late Pyong Chu Kim and Ul Nae An. Lily loved to go to the casino in King’s Mountain with her friends, Carroll and Patricia. She also loved going to the Flea Market where she enjoyed selling silk flower arrangements and making new friends. She was loved by her family and will be dearly missed.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Warren Stephen Lail, and five sisters in Hawaii, Korea, and Japan.
Those left to cherish her memory include, a daughter, Sandy Shirtz and granddaughter, Hailey Shirtz.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Carolina Caring in Lily’s name.
