I worked many years with Linda at Hildebran Elementary School, I drove bus 144 if I remember right, she could get me to laugh at anything, we would talk for hours sometimes after our routes were over, I could feel so bad about my weight and she knew exactly what to say to get me laughing again till I cried. I wish she could see that I lost all that weight. It would give me and her something to laugh at again. I loved her like a sister. We would sit in the RV that her and her husband got and she would talk about all the places she wanted to go. Linda I hope you got to go to some of them, I’ve thought of you often and I know you have them rolling with laughter in heaven, I love you sweetheart 🌹♥️🙏😢😇 Prayers to the family, I’m so sorry for your loss, I just found out today.

I did not know Linda but I saw her obit in the Bluefield WVA paper and noticed she was living in Hickory. I also was born in McDowell County WVa in the same time period and now live here close to Hickory. I'm sorry I didn't get to talk with her as I bet we share a lot of the same memories. God Bless the Family at this time and give you peace.
