

In her courageous and long battle with Alzheimer’s Madeleine faced an overwhelming struggle. While we are heartbroken, we take comfort in knowing that Madeleine is finally at peace and free from the pain of both body and mind.
Born on Jan 25,1938 she met & married the love of her life David Guy in Casablanca, Morocco and was the daughter of the late Mazal Ifergan and Louis Provasoli.
She was a proud seamstress, saleswoman and most of all a wife, mother and grandmother.
In addition to her parents Madeleine was preceded in death by her precious husband David Guy, sisters Berte Provasoli, Lucy Vaknin, Solange Davis and brother Albert Ifergan.
Left to cherish her memories are…her children. Barbara Fors, (Scott) Martha Guy Starnes, Sally Guy Annas and Alice Guy, (Frank Patti). Grandchildren Brandon Starnes, Lacey Leotta, Jordan Leotta, Jerrica Broome (Andrew) and Alexa Smith,(Shane) and great grandchildren Levi & Ava Broome; and numerous nieces, nephews & other family members.
Her devoted friend Darlene Dawson among many others.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, June 2, 2026 at 10am at Catawba Memorial Park with Chuck Lieberman officiating. Burial will follow.
The Guy family will be sitting Shiva Wednesday.
