Marian Miller Barger

Marian was born October 3, 1930 to the late William Clyde Miller and Myrtle Mataline Auman Miller. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 49 years Floyd Walter Barger, and a sister Ruth Ellen Eller.

Marian was a charter member of Sandy Ridge Baptist Church, where she was a Sunday School Teacher for many years. She retired from the Catawba County Lunchroom’s including Webb Murray School.

Surviving are two daughters, Donna Engel and Husband Kenneth of South Minneapolis MN, Terri Barger of Conover, grandson, William Spencer Grigg of Harrogate, TN, granddaughter Amy Dawn Couch and husband Paul of Taylorsville, great grandchildren Jacob and Alivia Couch of Taylorsville, Brother, Tommy Ray Miller of Granite Falls and his daughter Debra Dittman, Sister, Shirley Tobin of Thomasville and her children Donna Tobin-Smith, Sheila Tobin-Meyers, Keith Tobin and Kemp Tobin, nieces, Lottie Fox and Jane Goolsby of Hickory, Cousin, Judy Laws of Hickory, Aunt, Betty Huffman of Hickory and numerous other nieces and nephews, and a special friend Patricia Burke of Ellendale Community.

The family will receive friends at Sandy Ridge Baptist Church On Tuesday December 4th from 12:30 until 1:45 PM

Services will be held on Tuesday December 4th at 2:00 PM At Sandy Ridge Baptist Church with Reverend John Whaley And Reverend Homer Greene officiating.
