

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mary Elizabeth Stafford, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who peacefully departed this life at the age of 97 on Monday, September 30, 2024.
Born on February 17, 1927, in Waterloo, New York, Mary lived a full and meaningful life, marked by her love for family and dedication to her work. She was employed by J.M. Tull Metals and Supply Company of Miami, Florida, as a secretary but her strong work ethic and attention to detail soon earned her a promotion to credit manager. After 30 years of loyal service, she retired, leaving a lasting impact on her colleagues and the company.
Mary was predeceased by her second husband, E.M. Stafford; her mother, Mary Elizabeth Edington; her father, Jackson Edington; and her beloved daughter, Marijo Murphy-Neff. She is survived by her son, Jack David Murphy; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Leal-Ann Murphy Kratz and spouse, Daniel Eric Kratz; Timothy Michael Murphy and spouse, Lauren Brown Murphy, and their children, Elizabeth Rose Murphy and Gunnar Reid Murphy; and John Patrick Murphy and spouse, Ally Stacher Murphy, and their children, Liam Blaze Murphy and Marley Rain Murphy.
Mary will be deeply missed by her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy of kindness, strength, and unconditional love will continue to live on in the hearts of her loved ones.
