MARTHA BEAM PARKER HICKORY – Martha Beam Parker, 85 of Hickory passed away on April 30, 2016 at Trinity Village. Martha was preceded in death by her husband, Colen Parker and her son, Dennis Parker. Survivors include her son, Michael Parker; daughter, Debbie Shook and husband Richard; grandsons and their wives, Alan and Karen Shook, Andrew and Anna Shook; great-grandchildren, Alan Wade and Amy Grace Shook. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, May 2, 2016 at 3 PM at Catawba Funerals & Cremations with Rev. Gordon West officiating. Burial will follow at Catawba Memorial Park.
