Maude Warren Hunt

Maude was born on May 1, 1913 in Catawba County to the late Yeodom Tobias Warren and Harriet Vanderline Matthews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, James Paul Hunt, daughter in law Sherrian D. Hunt, Son in law Reverend William R. Yocum and a grandson, Jason Farel Hunt and numerous brothers and sisters

Maude was a lifetime member of Faith Evangelical and Reformed Church U.CC., Brookford, where she had served in various positions. She had worked for Hickory Printing for numerous years and retired from Joan Fabric.

Surviving are her son, James Farel Hunt of Claremont; daughter, Carolyn Hunt Yocum of Lexington, a grandson, Dennis A. Yocum of High Point, granddaughters Maria E. Yocum-Carlson of Tolland, CT, Sherel H. Dellinger of Hickory, great granddaughters, Kendall Yocum, Landon Yocum and McKenzie Yocum all of High point and Dana Dellinger of Charlotte.

The family will receive friends at Faith Evangelical and Reformed Church U.C.C., Monday January 12th from 1:00 PM until 1:45 PM.

The funeral service will be Faith Evangelical and Reformed Church U.C.C., Monday January 12th at 2:00 PM with Reverend Harry Griffin officiating.

Private interment will follow at Catawba Memorial Park.
