He was born January 26, 1977 to Stanley R. Williams and Patricia C. Griggs. Michael was a member of Harvest Bible Chapel of Hickory. He loved sports, especially football, and was a big fan of the Oakland Raiders. He really loved watching his nephew, Cody, play football.
Michael is preceded in death by his brother, Joseph Williams.
Survivors include his parents, Stanley R. Williams and Patricia C. Griggs Williams of Hickory; sister, Debra Williams of Hickory; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews who loved him very much.
A memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 in the chapel of Drum Funeral Home in Hickory. Pastor Kurtis Massey will officiate.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Drum Funeral Home in Hickory.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorials be made to Harvest Bible Chapel of Hickory: 909 US Highway 70 SW, Hickory, North Carolina 28602.
