Born in Catawba County on November 11, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Ralph Lane and Violet Hunt Spencer.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Cecil John Wesley Queen, sister Vonda Poovey and brother Jerry Spencer
She retired from Classic Leather as a leather cutter. Lifelong member of St. Stephens Lutheran Mo-Synod.
Her daughter Mandy Baumgarner of Hickory; sons Mark Queen (Diane) of Hickory, Sherwin Queen (Patty) of Conover, David Queen of Conover, Paul Queen (Ronda) of Hickory; 10 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren; sister Paulette Evans of Conover survive her.
The family will receive friends Friday, September 6, 2024 from 2:30 pm to 3:45 pm at St. Stephens Lutheran Mo-Synod.
Funeral services will be Friday, September 6, 2024 at 4:00 pm at with Reverend Shea Pennington and Vicar Josh Marlatt officiating. Burial will follow in church cemetery.
