Nadine (Bumgarner) Dula

Born in Wilkes County on August 2, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Walt Whittington and Ella Bumgarner.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Odis Junior Dula; her sisters Lillie Holman Church, Novella Strong, Effie Mae Kirby, Wilma Jean Elliott and Dewie “Duke” Eckard; son-in-law Kevin Davis Sr. and grandsons Kevin Davis Jr. and Richard “Rich” Pope III.

Nadine was a member of First Baptist Church of Rhodhiss.

She is survived by her daughters Wanda McKinnon and husband Tom of Connelly Springs, Sandy Stallings and husband Larry of Hudson, Mitzi Mull and husband Mike of Rhodhiss, Sherry Gaines of Connelly Springs, and Dona Harbin and husband Steve of Statesville; grandchildren Kristin Watson (Darrell), Justin McKinnon (Stephanie), Todd Stallings (Carla), Tracey Stallings (Traci) Darin Gaines, Tara Pitts (Greg), Marty Davis, Natalie Davis Croland, Matt Mull (Tara), and Swaid Bailey. Special nieces and nephews also survive her.

The family will receive friends, Friday, October 9, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at First Baptist Church of Rhodhiss. Funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm with Reverend Rick Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Todd Stallings, Tracey Stallings, Justin McKinnon, Darin Gaines, Marty Davis and Swaid Bailey. Great grandchildren will be Honorary pallbearers.
