Neil William Sigmon

Neil William Sigmon, 83 of Hickory, passed away on September 16, 2026 at Trinity Village. He was born in Catawba County to the late Adrian Marcain Sigmon and Nannie Myrle Huffman Sigmon. He is also preceded in death by four brothers; Gary Sigmon, Randall Sigmon, Lynn Sigmon and Kearney Sigmon; and sister, Reba Pearson.

Neil was a retired upholsterer from the furniture industry. He was a longtime member of Miller’s Lutheran Church.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 62 years, Linda Diane Townsend Sigmon; son Van Sigmon (Joy); daughter, Staci Ryan; grandchildren, Adrian Sigmon, Sam Sigmon, Alexia Ryan Oliver, Madalyn Ryan, Nikki Ryan; and great- grandchild Freja Kancir.

A Memorial service will be 11:00 am on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at Miller's Lutheran Church. The family will receive friends from 10-11 prior to the service. Inurnment will be in the church columbarium.
