She was born on December 26, 1936 to the late Hal E. Miller and Nina Katherine Miller in Catawba County. Deanne served in the Peace Corp and taught school in the Chicago City School System. She was of the Lutheran faith.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Jane Bice and Rite Drum.
Survivors include a sister, Elizabeth Sigmon and husband Darrell Sigmon and numerous nieces and a nephew.
A graveside inurnment will be held on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Rev. Ernie Richards will officiate the service.
