ORVILLE WAYNE JOHNSON MAIDEN-Orville Wayne Johnson, 75, of Maiden went home to be with his Lord and Savior on November 4, 2014 at Frye Regional Center. Born on June 7, 1939 in Odessa, TX, he was the son of the late William “Bill” and Ruth Odell Johnson. He was a loving and devoted father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend to all who knew him. Orville was a US Navy Veteran who served during the Korean Conflict. He also worked as a butcher and a truck driver. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his children Michael Wayne Johnson Sr, Pamela Lynn Estep, Martin Wesley Johnson. Survivors include his children, Thomas Wayne Johnson, Michael Wayne Johnson, grandchildren, Justin W. Johnson, Holly A. Kerekes, Kaylee L. Johnson, Amanda Estepp, Jessica Estepp, and Phillip Estepp; and sixteen great-grandchildren. A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, November 10, 2014 at 11 AM at Catawba Memorial Park.
