Patsy Thurman Hudson

NEWTON----Patsy Thurman Hudson, 68, passed away, Thursday, January 7, 2016 at Sherrills Ford Hospice House after a brief illness. Patsy was born January 15, 1947 in Frankfort, Ky. to the late Connie Evans and Ruby Avery Thurman. Patsy was a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church and a self-employed seamstress. Surviving is her husband, Howard V. Hudson; daughters, Angie H. Massagee and husband, Brian of Hickory and Amanda H. Duncan and husband, Tommy of Newton; granddaughter, Emily Grace Duncan of Newton; grandson, Seth Nolan Flowers of Newton; sisters, Nettie T. Smith of Hickory, Brenda T. Lutz and husband, Darrell of Hickory and Terrie T. Tallant and husband, Gary of Hickory; brother, Kenneth E. Thurman and wife, Gail of Newton and a number of nieces and nephews. Services will be Saturday, January 9, 2016, at 11:30 A. M. at Woodlawn Baptist Church with Dr. Ed Yount and Rev. Justin Thurman officiating. Burial will follow in Catawba Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Saturday, January 9, 2016, from 10:00 – 11:15 A. M. at Woodlawn Baptist Church. Memorials may be made to Woodlawn Baptist Church, 440 7th. St. Pl., SW, Conover, N.
