Paul Francis Mulcahy Jr.

Paul Francis Mulcahy, Jr, 80 of Conover, NC went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 15th, 2026, at his residence surrounded by his loved ones.

Born on January 11th, 1946, in Suffolk County, Dorchester, Massachusetts, Paul was the son of the late Paul Francis Mulcahy, Sr and Mildred Brown Mulcahy. He proudly served his country in the US Navy for 6 years. He worked for Local 17 as a sheet metal worker for more than 20 years. He was loved by his family and friends and will be dearly missed.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Grace Hutte.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 47 years, Virginia Sarah Garabedian Mulcahy; his daughter, Lisa Adkins and husband Alvin Adkins, daughter, Kimberly Owen and husband, Jason Owen; his son, Paul Francis Mulcahy III and family, daughter Linda Marie DeNault and family, daughter, Kristen Cocuzzo and family, brother, Kenneth Mulcahy and family, sister, Elizabeth Stark and family.

A Graveside Service will be scheduled at a later date. An inurnment will be held at Catawba Memorial Park with the rendering of Military Honors.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Veteran’s Affairs or Gentiva Hospice, Statesville NC in Paul’s name.
