HICKORY – Peggy Ann Blevins, 83 of Hickory was called home on March 3, 2025 at Hickory Village Memory Care.
Born on February 10, 1942 in Burnsville, she was the daughter of the late John Wesley and Mae Silver Thomas. Peggy was Director of Children’s Church at Trinity Baptist Temple for over 50 years. She loved children and the Lord.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Blevins; siblings, Flora, Pearl, Earl, Rex, and Nelda.
Left to cherish her memory is her sister, Opal Burleson; numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, March 7, 2025 at 3 PM at Catawba Memorial Park with Pastor Jeff Brown officiating. Entombment will follow.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hickory Village Memory Care Unit, 427 3rd Ave Se, Hickory, NC 28602.
