Penny was a dear friend of mine and someone that I came to consider family. I’ll never forget the hunting and fishing excursions that I went on with her and Freddie . And it was a privilege and an honor to call her my friend, and get to spend those times with her. My thoughts and prayers go out to all the family.

Oh, Josh- I am so very sorry for your loss. Although I never met your Mother, I am certain she was a wonderful person. How else would she have raised such a sweet son? I have been thinking about you and praying for you and your family. Honey please call or come any time.
Love, Norma

Penny was a dear sweet friend who always had a smile on her face. I'll always hold dear the memories of her from our childhood from learning how to roller skate in her basement with her and Bud to going to family outings together. She is now joined with her dear sweet parents and in her new, heavenly body. I can only imagine the sweet reunion that was. This isn't goodbye, it's until we meet again. Praying for her dear family who is left behind that you will all find comfort that only God can provide.

Dear Family ~ Ms. Lail was very dear to us here at Carolina Biooncology. Having been her nurse, it was a privilege to know her and care for her while she was here. Her spirit was a blessing to all who experienced her sweet smile and demeanor. She will be missed.

Sweet Sweet Penny, I used to babysit you when you and Bud were little and spent many weekends with your family when I was a teenager. I have so many fond memories at the pond at your dad's cookouts. Benny was a special cousin to me and I don't think he could bear this. Whitney , Josh & Bud, prayers and hugs, I know your hearts are broken. She was a good momma and sister. I am so glad she got to spend time with Ali. I will be praying for all of you in the days ahead.
