Randy Carlton

Born in Watauga County on June 24, 1970, he was the son of the late Ernest Allen Carlton and Dorothy Greene Marley.

He attended Highland United Methodist Church , and worked for Sherrills Furniture for over 30 years.

Randy is survived by his wife Crystal Waters Carlton of the home; daughter Brittany Carlton; his mother Dorothy Marley; stepdaughter Courtney Long; step-son Cody Long and wife Cassie; grandchildren Jonathan Wayman, Cooper Smith and Caroline Long; his sisters Diane Carlton and Sandy Davis; his brother Roger Carlton; numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial Service will be at Highland United Methodist Church, Sunday, November 23, 2025 at 2:00 pm with Reverend Alan Gaylord officiating. The family will receive friends following Memorial service.

In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be sent to Highland United Methodist Church, 1020 12th Street Place NE, Hickory, NC 28601, or Tunnels to Towers 2361 Hylan Boulevard, Staten Island, NY 10306.
