Ray, you had a loving heart and a beautiful soul. You are greatly appreciate throughout the years of the work you done and also serving your country. I will miss the days of you telling us stories of you and my grandparents especially the ones involving my grandpa, and the love you have for your family and friends. You reminded me a lot of my grandpa, hard-working, passionate in your work, family, and life. You taught me a lot over the last couple of years and for that I'm grateful. You reminded me of what life is about even if it doesn't go the way you plan at times. As I know you will always be there in spirit and our hearts your love will carry on. May you be at peace as you watch over us as we all have an angel watching over us. With love always ❣️

I knew Paw-Paw Ray mostly seeing him at holidays when the family would gather. I really knew him best through his family. Honestly, I don’t know a better way to measure the worth of a man - by his family and friends left behind. Old folks used to just call them “Good People.” And you won’t find better people in this world than the true-hearted, kind souls of his family; his Legacy. My memory of Ray is he is the epitome of a sweet old man who’s heart swelled with joy and pride of his family.

Mr. Barger was a community servant. He helped us honor our son, Jason’s life with a beautiful tombstone. He told me he would put whatever I wanted on the stone. Then, our mother passed away March 1st, so we wanted Ray to take care of her tombstone. We met Ray Friday, talked to him, reminisced about his years at the City. It was so good to see him. As usual he worked with us to find what would work. Ray is an icon who will be sorely missed by many. A true servant! Rest In Peace, Ray Barger!

Mr Ray was a very kind and generous man and a dear friend. He helped us aquire marble sitting benches to go in our church park,on those benches is engraved scripture. He out right donated one himself to the church so we had it engraved to honor him
He will be truly missed by many but he will longed be remembered and will still be spreading the gospel for years to come
Thanks for the memories and rest In peace dear friend.

I met Ray many years ago, when I started dating my daughter's dad, Rick Watts. He was a very kind and giving man. He loved my daughter Jena as his own, as she did him. Your laughter, smile and kind heartedness will truly be missed.
Prayers for Dollie, Robin and the rest of the family. Love you guys always. ❤🙏❤
