He was the son of the late John Maynor and Viola Noah Maynor.
Ray was also preceded in death by his wife Patricia Elaine Barringer Maynor and two sons, Ray Lee Maynor II and Wayne Landon Maynor.
Ray was a retired truck driver from Hickory Printing and member of Central Baptist Church.
He is survived by his sister-in-law, daughter-in-law, nieces and nephews.
A Graveside Service will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Hickory on Wednesday, April 2, 2025 at 11:00 am with Reverend Bob Dockery officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Central Baptist Church, 201 U.S. Hwy 70 SW E, Hildebran, NC 28637
