Richard Herman Setzer

He was born on December 11, 1944, to the late James Alfred Setzer and Minnie Catherine Herman Setzer in Catawba County. Richard was a United States Army National Guard Veteran.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sherry Ann Chapman Setzer; sisters, Carrie West, Catherine Cruse, Annie Huffman, Ruby Setzer; and brothers, Jim, Grover, and Tom Setzer.

Survivors include his daughters, Thalia Dula (Jerry) of Hickory, Angela Robinson of Hickory; grandchildren, Graham Hedrick, Evan Robinson, Wendy Cooley, Johnathan Dula, Dylan Sigmon; great grandchildren, Lyla Cooley, Jaxon Parker, Deacon Parker; sister, Jeannie Bowman; brothers, Lewis Setzer (Lala), Robert Setzer (Gloria); and numerous nieces and nephews.

Honoring Richard’s wishes, no services will be held at this time.
