Richie Allen Robinson, 50, of Newton, NC passed away Thursday, August 24, 2017 at his residence. Born on November 23, 1966 in Radford City, VA, he was the son of the late Rufus Brown Robinson and Judith Darlene Porterfield Robinson. He was raised by his grandparents John and Rose Porterfield. He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Joyce Robinson; sons, Peyton Robinson and Brady Burke; daughter, Tabatha Robinson; brothers, Bruce Robinson (Emily) and Dale Robinson (Valerie); sister, Christina Lawrence (Michael); and close friend Debra Boxall (Tom). A Service will be held at Catawba Memorial Park, Funerals & Cremations with Pastor Gregory Burris officiating on Monday, August 28, 2017 at 2pm. With burial following service at Catawba Memorial Park. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1-1:45 am at the Funeral Home.
