She was born to Elbert Marlin Short and the late Sandra Jo Allen Short. She was also preceded in death by husband Glenn Doyle.
Robin was the manager of Propst Convenience Store in Conover where she has worked for many years. Robin loved her family, her work family and her customers.
Those left to cherish her memory in addition to her father are her daughter, Kathryn Short Thorne and husband Philip, one granddaughter, Synclair Covington, brother Donald Short and wife Jennifer.
