Roger "Kevin" Lane

HICKORY---Roger “Kevin” Lane, 53, of Hickory NC left his old wheelchair and went to be with his Heavenly Father on April 28, 2012 . Kevin was a sweet precious man and brother to all who knew him. He was much loved and will be missed by all his family and friends; He is a member of Winkler’s Grove Baptist church.

He is the son of the late Jimmy and Norma Lane. He is survived by three sisters and their husbands, Karen and Robert Turner, Paula and Ed Bowman, Wanda and Dock Worley,his nephews , Reggie Lloyd and Logan Turner, his nieces, Chastity Icard, Jessica McKinney, Patricia Travis, Pamela Blessings, Pam Brittain, a great-nephew Austin Lloyd, great nieces , Jordan Franklin, Katie Beth Travis, Kayleigh Huffman, Hannah Huffman and Victoria Blessings.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, May 1, 2012, at Winkler’s Grove Baptist Church with the Reverend Dale Faulkenbury and Reverend Paul Deal officiating.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 1:30 PM until 2:45 PM at the church

Interment will follow at Catawba Memorial Park.
