Hi, Ron! We miss you, but know you're up there in Heaven making everybody laugh, discovering everything that is new, chatting with your parents and old friends and relatives. Ron began the CIA (Christians In Action), with the youth, and they now have Jr. Church on Sunday mornings during the sermon. Here is a photo of him in 2010 when we had a 4th of July celebration and he squirted the kids that came with his fancy squirting apparatus. Sincere condolences to the family.

I was privileged to be a member of Cross Mill Pentecostal Holiness Church, and grew to love Ron and Cindy Carpenter. I'm amazed at the gift Ron had to make little children feel happy. Ron had a way to make the congregation laugh, and joke with us. He got to Asheville Hospital first before me to pray with my dad prior to hip surgery. Prayers to all the family.

Ron was one of the best pastors that we had ever had. One could tell that he had a deep love for God and His Word. Ron was the type of minister that not only was a great preacher, but also a great pastor. He will be missed. Great is his reward.

I remember back in August, when I broke my arm for the second time and had to have surgery and be in Asheville by 6:00 AM. Not long before I got there, he was there as well, he was a great and loved man and will be dearly missed by many. I love and miss you already Preacher Ron. I'll meet with you once again one day.
