HICKORY - Rosa Mae Keller, 83 of Hickory went home to be with her Lord on February 7, 2021.
Rosa was born on May 7, 1937 in Caldwell County to the late Dave and Rose South. She was a member of Guiding Light Baptist Church. Rosa was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend to all who knew her. She was kind hearted, never met a stranger and loved to give out hugs. Rosa was a devoted caregiver and she volunteered at Hospice for many years. She loved her furry family, Sampson and Oscar.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Claude Keller; son, John Mauney; sister, Annabelle Bentley; brother, Harry South.
Survivors include her children, Robin Crafton and husband Keith, Faye Crafton and husband Danny, Richard Keller; grandchildren, Kevin Geackel and wife Connie, Danny Crafton Jr., Michael Crafton, Scottie Mays, Misty Clay and husband Jeff; 11 great-grandchildren; and her best friend, Mary Bowman.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
