Ruby Alice Hedrick Hildebran

CONNELLY SPRINGS--- Ruby Alice Hedrick Hildebran 79, of Connelly Springs, passed away on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at Valdese General Hospital following a period of declining health.Ruby was born May 14, 1935 in Catawba County to the late Lester and Emma Jane Drum Hedrick.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Hubert “Popeye” Hildebran; her sisters Pollie Brotherton and Annie Mae Cobb, and her brother George Hedrick. Ruby was a home maker and she loved her flowers and gardening. She is survived by her sons Andy Hildebran and wife Debbie of Hickory and Rodney Hildebran of Connelly Springs; grandchildren Josh Hildebran and wife Meagan, Sean Hildebran, Christopher Hildebran and Justin Hildebran. The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 15, 2014 from 12:45 pm to 1:45pm at Hickory Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 15, 2014 at 2:00pm at Hickory Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
