Born in Catawba County on August 21, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Perry and Katie Shook Houston.
She is survived by her husband A.J. Moretz; 6 children, Linda Baker, Dennis (Jennifer) Moretz, Allen (Mavin) Moretz, Sharon (Dave) Shutters, Annette Moebius, Angela (Joe) Sigmon; 20 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 13, 2021 from 2:45pm to 3:45pm at Mt. Zion Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall in Conover.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at 4:00pm at Mt. Zion Lutheran Church in Conover with Reverend Scott Bollinger officiating.
Burial will follow in church cemetery
