Hickory – Ruby Juanita Rash Winebarger, 77 of Hickory went home to be with the Lord on Monday, February 16th, 2026, at The Greens at Hickory surrounded by her loved ones.
Born on January 1st, 1949, in Ashe County, NC, Ruby was the daughter of the late Dennis and Louise Rash. Ruby was a loving and caring person. She was loved by her family and will be dearly missed.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 15 years, Eddie McCray Winebarger.
Those left to cherish her memory include her 4 sisters, Betty Mullis and husband, Herb, Diane Rash, Kathy Elliot, Linda Rash and her brother, Henry Rash and wife, Sandra.
A Graveside Service will be held at Catawba Memorial Park on Monday, February 23rd, 2026, at 3:00 pm with Pastor Patrick Hawley officiating.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2:00 pm to 2:45 pm at Catawba Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Carolina Caring in Ruby’s name.
