Conover – Scott Christopher Huffman, 63 of Conover went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at Catawba Valley Medical Center.
Born on April 25, 1958 in Catawba County, NC, he was the son of the late McCoy and Louise Huffman. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He’s probably already found the best fishing hole in Heaven.
In addition to his parents, Scott is preceded in death by his sister-Barbara Barbour, brother- Stephen Huffman, and infant brother-Timothy Huffman.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Sherri Huffman of the home. Two sons-Christopher Scott Huffman and wife Erin and Joseph Aaron Huffman and wife Andrea. Three grandchildren-Abigail Huffman, Kyler Huffman, and Jacob Huffman. Also left to cherish his memory is brother-in-law Milford Barbour, his brother from another mother, Daniel Clontz and wife Angela. There is also his brother Phillip Huffman. There are also a number of nieces, nephews, and friends who will hold his memory dear.
A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
