Sharon Lynn Bumgarner

Sharon was a beloved wife, daughter, stepmother, aunt, grandmother, and friend whose life was defined by her love for others and her strong Christian faith. She deeply loved her Lord and Savior, and her faith was a guiding light throughout her life. Sharon had a special love for children, especially her beloved niece, Kayla, and her two grandchildren, who lovingly called her “Nana.” Sharon also enjoyed singing, cooking, and watching the Food Network. She had a warm and caring spirit and will be remembered for the love she gave so freely, the joy she brought to those around her, and the lasting impact she made on the lives of her family and friends.

She is survived by her father, Daniel W. Briggs; her brother, Eric Briggs (Melinda); her uncle, Larry Ellis; her stepdaughter, Kristen Souza (Marcos) and her children, Logan and Ethan; her stepson, Kolby Bumgarner; and her cousins, Tim and Edith Stafford.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Bumgarner; and her niece, Kayla Briggs.
