Sherry was born February 16, 1967 in Catawba Co. to David L. and Faye Waters Thompson.
She was formerly employed by West Point Medical Practice as practice manager and was a part time instructor at Gardner Webb University.
She is survived by her parents, David & Faye Waters Thompson, of Hickory; pets, Kira and Kellie and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.
A memorial service will be Thursday, January 10, at 2:00 P. M. at Winkler’s Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Dale Faulkenbury and David Church officiating.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 12:45 until 1:45 P. M. at Winkler’s Grove Baptist Church.
