HICKORY – Shirley Gregg Ramseur, 89 of Hickory passed away at her residence on April 16, 2025.
Born on June 13, 1935 in Buncombe County, to the late Thomas Earl Gregg and Winefred Dover Gregg. Shirley was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother who will be remembered as a strong willed woman with a unforgettable sense of humor.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Theordore “Jack” Ramseur; children, Karen Dietrich, Richard Theordore “Ted” Ramseur Jr. and Patrick Gregg Ramseur.
Left to cherish her memory are numerous nieces and nephews, grandson, Kevin Dietrich and wife Jessica and great-granddaughter, Rosalea Dietrich.
A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at 3 PM at Catawba Memorial Park with Pastor Jeff Brown officiating. Entombment will follow.
