His wife Lydia Linos of the home, his daughter Lynn Sohl and husband Josh Cutshaw of Conover, and grandsons Nemia D. Nickol and Bryson D. Cutshaw survive him.
A receiving of friends for Silvester will be held Saturday, June 17, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Hickory Funeral Home, 1031 11th Ave Blvd SE, Hickory, North Carolina 28602.
