CONOVER – Stephen Vaughn Acree, 66 of Conover passed away on September 16, 2021 at Frye Regional Medical Center surrounded by his children.
Born on May 27, 1955 in Tarrant, TX, he was the son of the late James Vaughn and Venna Fay Johnston Acree. Stephen was a devoted husband, dad, grandfather, brother and friend. Prior to his death he worked at Corning as a SAP Basis Consultant. Stephen was respected and loved by many and will be sorely missed.
Leaving behind his wife, Deborah Acree; children, Michael Curtis of PA, Nichole Foreman and husband Michael of WI; grandchildren, Autum Curtis, Maryanne Foreman, Rebecca Foreman; brothers, Ronnie, Tim, and Pete Acree; and best friend, David Fenton.
