Teresa (Stewart) Martin

Born in Catawba County on May 17, 1963, she was the daughter of Margaret Bolick and the late Jessie “Bill” Stewart. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her sister Linda Stewart Chapman, her brother Jimmy Stewart and her father Jack Bolick.

Teresa was a member of Lighthouse Ministries, and a loving wife, mother and grandmother, she was a caring and generous soul who spent her life giving to others. She will be deeply missed by family and friends.

She is survived by her husband Michael Martin of the home; her son Brandon Martin and his wife Nicky of Hickory; her grandchildren Kaden and Hallie Martin; her mother Margaret Bolick of Vale; mother-in-law Phyllis Martin of Hickory; brother Tim Bolick (Melvina) of Vale; brother-in-law Gary Reid Chapman, numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends, Tuesday, July 14, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 1:45 pm at Hickory Funeral Home, funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm in Hickory Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Donna O’Neal and Reverend Jerry Grogan officiating. Burial will follow at Wilkies Grove Baptist Church.
