Timothy Allan Burke

Born in Washington, DC, Timothy made the decision 48 years ago to move to the Hickory area, where he was employed by CommScope for many years.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Joyce; son, Timothy Allan Burke, Jr. of Hickory; brother, Michael Burke of Glendale, AZ; sister, Janet Dishner of Woodbridge, VA, twin sisters, Patricia Hull of Alexandria, VA and Pamela Robertson of Fairfax, VA. He is also survived by nephews, Aaron, Bryan, Scott and Brady.

He leaves behind his dogs, Doberman, Brutus and poodle, Kate.

A celebration of Tim’s life will be held later.

In honoring Tim’s wishes, memorials may be given to Catawba Humane Society at 3224 20th Ave, SE, Hickory, NC 28602 or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl. Memphis , TN 38105-9959.
