Born in 1959, after successfully graduating from high school, Tim entered the United States Marine Corps where he served faithfully until his Honorable Discharge in June of 1984.
Tim was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend to many. He always loved making the people around him laugh even if it meant making himself look silly. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to whoever needed it whenever he had the chance.
He is survived by his son Benjamin Corkran of Hickory, daughter Jessica Perryman of Valdese, grandson Bishop Willis of Taylorsville, sisters, Becky Beech Corkran of Maiden, Debra Corkran of Morganton and many more relatives that loved him deeply.
Memorial Services will be held on May 6th 2025 at Catawba Funeral Home. Located at 3010 US-70, Hickory, NC. Visitation for family and friends will begin at 2pm and the service will begin at 3pm.
