Hickory – Va Yang, 71 of Hickory went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 1, 2021 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC.
Born on September 15, 1949 in Laos, she was the daughter of the late Txawj Rwg Yaj and Mos Hawj.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Nao Chao Thao.
Survivors include, 5 daughters, 3 sons, 51 grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Catawba Funeral Home on Saturday, July 10, 2021 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm and Sunday, July 11, 2021 from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm with Pastor
Vang Vang officiating. Burial will be on Monday, July 12, 2021 at Catawba Memorial Park after a short service at Catawba Funeral Home at 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.
